We are going skiing!!

Garrett and Grant trying on their new hats for our ski trip to Perfect North!

P.S...Went on line last night for "ski tips" for our trip this week...Tip #1 - Wear Snow/Water resistant pants - very important, your 1st day will acquaint your butt to the snow! Oh Great! What if my butt doesn't want to get acquainted! hehe!

Merry Christmas from the Sandersons!

The boys were kind enough to wait until 7:30 this morning (only because I said "Do Not wake me up before 7:30!") by jumping on our bed and singing to me some song they made up and thought was absolutely hilarious!

We have in our family a couple of true believers and a couple who are fiercely determined to protect the spirit of Christmas, so Christmas morning continues to be filled with the excitement of hurrying in to see what Santa has brought. I, still not being the best functioning morning person, only managed to snap a few "shaky" pictures before the stockings were dumped out on the floor and the paper began to fly!

Santa was good to us all again this year, as was our generous family and friends. The toys are definitely getting more expensive the older they get! I even got a new Blackberry which Carter and Scott have taken turns helping me figure out how to use. "Santa" brought us a piano - a gift which Clint said the noise from would be just about enough to put Scott over the edge! - and he brought me and the boys a totally cool skiing trip over New Year's eve with some of our friends! (Keep your fingers crossed we all make it back in one piece or we will be in big trouble!) Hopefully I will be able to get some great pictures from that adventure. Christmas wouldn't be complete without picking up our special friend Chuck Ross and bringing him home for lunch. I never get tired of hearing him tell me how I am the best cook in Nashville! hehe! This year we even took him with us to the movies - or "the show" as he calls it! Sharing Christmas with Chuck helps us appreciate how truly blessed we are.

Wishing you all Merry Everything and Happy Always!

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Found this picture from last year while doing a rare bit of housecleaning! I couldn't get any of the boys to agree to go anywhere near sitting on Santa's lap this year, so I thought I would post this one! I think next year, sitting on Santa's lap for a picture is going to be mandatory for all four of them! Maybe that would make a cute Christmas card...think they'll go for it?!

"Buzzer Beater" at Arizona!

At least that's what the refs said! Personally, I'm not buying it! Scott and the Bisons traveled to Tucson to play the University of Arizona on Monday. It was a game that took 45 minutes to play, but less than one-tenth of a second determined which team would leave the arena with a win in the record column. Lipscomb played their best game of the season against an Arizona squad picked to finish fourth in the Pac-10 conference. A three pointer at the buzzer in overtime gave Arizona the 83-82 win against Lipscomb. You look at the picture and decide...did he get the ball off in time? (p.s. the answer is NO!)

Apparently that wasn't the only call Scott was unhappy about!

Scott and Harry and Karen Cain before the game - sweet parents of our good friends the Rohms!

Caught in the Act...

Well sure, we should be doing flips on the trampoline...it's been weeks since our last visit to the emergency room! Would someone please explain the meaning of the word "dangerous" to this child!

December means basketball!

Besides all the excitement of the Christmas season, we can't get enough basketball around here! In last week alone, all my "players" managed to keep me entertained with a game EVERY single night and three on Saturday! Recovered from his injuries, Clint is now back in action and I attempted to take some pictures at a couple of his games. I'm still working on capturing action shots in the gym...thinking maybe Santa needs to give me some photography lessons for Christmas! Hint, Hint!

Clint (#11) and the Lipscomb Middle School...

And Scott and the Bisons explode for 105-68 win over Oakland City!

Pictures from some of Carter's games coming soon! (I will show you a picture of Carter with his new "friend"! SSHHH...! Don't tell him!)

Garrett's fall team finished up with a winning record a couple weeks ago. Now he and Grant will both be ready to begin their winter season in January! Hope there is enough space on my calendar to write every ones game schedules!

Lipscomb plays tough against Ohio State

Right before Thanksgiving, Scott and the Bisons traveled to Columbus, Ohio to play #17 ranked Ohio State! The Lipscomb University Bisons gave Ohio State a strong challenge for a majority of the game Tuesday night before falling 84-64.

It was a career night for several Lipscomb players as the Bisons opened Atlantic Sun Conference action with a 95-87 victory against the Mercer Bears Thursday evening... (As usual, you can click on the title to get to the entire article!) Let's Go, Bisons!
